At TransGlobe International, we take pride in offering top-grade green cardamom (Elaichi) sourced from the spice-rich regions of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka. Known for its distinct aroma, rich flavor, and vibrant green color, Indian cardamom is a key ingredient in global cuisine, perfumery, and traditional medicine.

We supply cardamom that meets international food safety and quality standards, hand-picked and sorted to ensure size uniformity, purity, and freshness. Our green cardamom is widely used in food processing, tea blends, herbal products, confectionery, and Ayurvedic formulations.

🧬 Varieties of Indian Green Cardamom

Indian cardamom is classified based on panicle type and plant characteristics into three primary botanical varieties:

  • Malabar – Features prostrate panicles, medium-height plants (2–3 meters), pubescent leaves, and globose fruit capsules.

  • Mysore – Identified by erect panicles, taller robust plants (3–4 meters), glabrous leaves, and ovoid capsules.

  • Vazhukka – A hybrid variety showing characteristics of both Malabar and Mysore, with semi-erect panicles and mixed physical traits.

🏷️ Export Grades We Offer

To meet global buyer requirements, we provide carefully sorted cardamom in popular export grades:

  • Alleppey Green Extra Bold (AGEB) – Large pods with deep green color and intense aroma

  • Alleppey Green Bold (AGB) – Medium-large, bold pods with standard export quality

  • Alleppey Green Superior (AGS) – Well-graded pods for both retail and commercial uses

Each grade is processed and packed in hygienic, food-safe packaging, available in 5kg, 10kg, 25kg, or custom export sacks.
